Mindgateway Base

About the practice

A small research desk that treats public disclosures as primary documents, not headlines.

Why we exist

Market notes often leap from an insider buy to a story. We pause at the filing itself: who traded, under which form, against which concurrent disclosure, and with what gaps still open.

Mindgateway Base grew out of years of reading Southeast Asian and cross-listed issuer filings for fund desks that needed a second, slower pair of eyes — not another price chart.

Where we sit

Our office is on Chang Klan Road in Chiang Mai. Distance from the trading floor is deliberate. Clients send us tickers and windows; we return briefs they can attach to their own research process.

How we approach the work

  • Primary sources first — dealings and filings before secondary commentary
  • Plain language — we write for analysts, not for regulators or marketers
  • Named uncertainty — if a field is blank or a translation is ambiguous, we say so
  • No theatre — no urgency clocks, no “signals” dressed as certainty

Values in practice

We decline work that asks us to bless a trade. We accept work that asks us to slow down a reading. Clients who need that distinction tend to stay.
