Mindgateway Base

Client stories

Evidence from engagements — specific windows, constraints, and how the brief was used. Not star ratings.

“We had four Form-style notices land in two sessions around a placement. Mindgateway Base mapped them against the circular’s lock-up language and showed where the public record still left the economic holder unclear. Useful for the note; a bit slower than we hoped on the Thai annex.”

— Equity analyst, Bangkok long-only fund · Insider dealing review

“The filings brief on the related-party sale was blunt: they refused to stretch a footnote into a governance call. That honesty saved us from overwriting our own risk section.”

— Research associate, regional broker · Filings analysis brief

“During a six-week monitoring window before an AGM, the interim notes were short enough to read between meetings. The close-out brief is what we kept in the archive.”

— Portfolio manager, ASEAN strategy · Event-window monitoring

Extended story: earnings-week cluster

A client covering a dual-listed industrial issuer asked for an insider dealing review after three directors reported purchases in the five sessions after results. Concurrent filings included an amended risk-factor page and a short material-contract notice.

We built a day-by-day timeline, noted that two purchases referenced a pre-arranged plan while the third did not, and flagged that the contract notice used different counterparty naming than the prior annual report. The desk used the brief as an appendix to their post-results comment; they did not change their rating, but they did rewrite a paragraph that had treated all three purchases as identical signals.

Extended story: prospectus chapter under time pressure

Ahead of a rights issue, another desk needed a filings analysis brief on the use-of-proceeds and dilution sections within three days. We delivered a memo with page references, a simple dilution walk-through, and a list of questions still unanswered by the prospectus. The client later said the unanswered list mattered more than our summary of what was already clear.
